Nature Dances ......... A Compliment!

I've been very hesitant in posting on social media for about a year now, just not feeling it really and the longer I avoid doing it the harder it seems to get back to posting regularly. Having plucked up the courage a couple of weeks ago, I was given a fabulous compliment in a comment, ''Nature dances in your paintings!'' How lovely, two things that I love in one comment, dance and nature ..... I often see my trees as ballet dancers and when someone else sees nature dance then I know I'm doing everything right. This painting danced off the easel this week,

80cm x 26cm

The second in what I hope will be a four season series (unfortunately I'll have to order some more Pastelcard in the meantime) and just to give you a better idea of the size, here is a photo with my feet for size!

So loving this format, I must say, and with this complete, the question is where do we dance next? Truthfully, I don’t have a clue .... normally when I'm working on a piece the next painting is ripening in my mind, this time my mind is a complete blank and even worse my easel is empty, something that I endeavour never to have.
Sifting through my photos (thousands) hasn’t helped and heading out to sketch hasn’t either, hmmmm, where do we go from here! Any suggestions very welcome!
