Giving up my Spoon, part 2!
Second page of giving up my spoon! Here we go .........

Visiting Amsterdam is a must (considering we live about 300km away, this really shouldn't be a big problem!) and then popping of to the Hague to see ''Girl With a Pearl Earring'', she really is one of my girl crushes. And while we’re talking visits, I'd love to visit Alexander in Pompeii!
Having always been a magpie, I'd love to try on some serious bling, Elizabeth Taylor's Emeralds or some stunning Parure from the Romanovs, not being greedy here, just try on not own! Speaking of trying on, I'd love to slip into a Mariano Fortuny dress. The greek-styled, silk, permanently pleated dresses have always floated my boat and I'm sure that even with my matronly body, they'd turn me into a goddess! In September I saw one exhibited at the Bulgari exhibition and my fingers were itching to touch it. The original dresses are still occasionally up for auction but with a starting price of 15,000 $ a bit pricey ..... one of the textile curators told me, infinitely wearable as long as you don’t sit down!
Finally, I'd love a window seat ...... preferably with a spectacular view, like over the roofs of Rome. Having enough windows isn't the problem, the seat is manageable too, the view is a problem! Sigh......! Guess that’s why it’s on my spoon list.
