An Hour in Munich Part 2

So that was then, this is now! My sketch in the last post shows the Feinkost Käfer building as I remember it, this is a sketch of how it looked on my one hour visit to Munich now, to be honest I ran past it. After my dash to the Consulate on the way back to the Underground, I couldn’t believe that I'd missed Käfer and then the penny dropped, this fabulous floral array, with lovely lanterns, comfortable benches and decorative pink iron tables was Feinkost Käfer decked out for a wee bit of Oktoberfest flair! Isn't that sumptuous......! 

It was so different, it had to be sketched, here is the photo I took of the window display, sigh! I would loved to have spent an hour sitting here and people-watching. Unfortunately, it was time to head off to the station, well never mind, maybe next year.
