Brrrrrrr, It’s Chilly!

Finally getting back to normal after the Winter/New Year break! The weather has turned nippy up here in the north and it’s been time to get out and take some reference photos! 

Let’s kick off 2021 with an oldie .......! Winter Maelstrom 

Looking back on what followed last year, this title seems very prophetic, doesn’t it? Turmoil, swirling waters, and wind swept surroundings! 

Although we are back in lockdown, I'm still hoping that winter bleakness will melt into a fabulous spring full of blossoming life. 

In the meantime, here is a very chilly stream which I definitely will paint with those white berries and some frosted branches. Time to stay cosy inside but even more importantly, stay healthy!
