Lost in Detail!
Phew! This one has been a struggle! It has taken so much diddling that I don’t have enough energy to find a title for it.

So many stops and starts, thinks and rethinks, details and somewhere in the middle I got lost in all those berries, leaves and stalks. At some point I was just wishing it was finished and wanted to walk away but unfortunately I knew it wasn’t, so soldiering on we finally made it. Yey!
It certainly was a momentous week and as Monday kicked off, I never thought I would witness such historical events as the passing of a monarch to the proclamation of a new king. It’s probably tricky to imagine as a non- Brit how momentous it is but for me The Queen has been there all of my life and although I'm not a raving Monarchist as a history fan I respect the traditions that make our monarchy unique and I have great respect for a woman who often put duty before everything else.
Speaking of history, I popped off to visit Lohr am Main this week, a wee town with lots of history and half-timbered houses …… here’s a photo! What makes Lohr interesting is it is possibly the birthplace of a fairytale but as I'm going to explore Lohr in a sketchbook page, I'll save that for another post!
