Filling in the Blanks Part 2

More spaces to fill, this time some of the luck owners of the fabulous Rococo summer residence in Veitshöchheim! You know I'm not a big people sketcher but I enjoyed painting these two from existing paintings. We've got Peter Philip von Dernbach and Ferdinand III Duke of the Toscana! Now as a Tuscany lover I'm not sure I'd swap Tuscany for Veitshöchheim but hey! It’s still a jewel box of a wee palace.

I can imagine these two illustrious gentlemen as they strolled through the labyrinth garden, listening to the fountains tinkling into the lake, followed by their entourage.
I always like to imagine what the hedges and trees could tell you. Still to be fair, I'd prefer to be strolling through the streets of Siena! I'd only just started back sketching on my first visit to Tuscany and completely lacked the brass neck (as the say in Scotland) to sit out in the open sketching. Nowadays, now that is a completely different matter, I'd scribble myself silly!
